Terms and Conditions of Service
Residential Clients (Homeowners)
Utah Tree Co. operates as a payment due upon completion company. Full payment is required on the day services are completed unless otherwise agreed to in writing prior to the start of work.
Commercial & Non-Residential Clients
For any client that is not a private homeowner, including but not limited to:
- General Contractors
- Homeowner Associations (HOAs)
- Property Management Companies
- Municipalities, Cities, or Towns
- Commercial or Government Entities>
the following payment terms apply:
Prior to commencement of work the client will need to pay 50% of the total cost of the job as a deposit then they will be placed on the schedule. Payment can be made via cash, card, or check.
Job Site Preparation
Clients are responsible for ensuring the work area is reasonably clear and accessible prior to crew arrival. This includes removal of excessive debris, personal items, and animal droppings from the yard and work zones.
If the site is not properly prepared and the crew must remove debris and/or animal waste to safely perform the work, a $250 site preparation upcharge will be applied to the final invoice.
Lawn & Landscape Impact
Tree work requires moving heavy material and equipment. While Utah Tree Co. takes great care to minimize impact, some wear and tear to grass and landscaping is normal and unavoidable, including flattening or minor damage caused by dragging brush, logs, or equipment to the chipper or trailer.
Zero-impact or low-impact work options may be available but must be discussed with your sales representative prior to scheduling work. Additional costs may apply.
Equipment Access & Parking
By approving this quote, the client grants Utah Tree Co. permission to park vehicles and operate equipment near the home and/or in the driveway if necessary to safely and efficiently complete the work.
If the client prefers that vehicles or equipment not be placed in the driveway, this must be communicated to the sales representative before the service date so accommodations can be discussed.
If driveway use is discussed and consent is given, the client acknowledges that any damage resulting from approved vehicle or equipment placement is the responsibility of the homeowner.
Day-of-Service Process
On the day of service, the crew will notify the client when they are en route. Upon arrival, the crew lead will contact the homeowner (via door knock or phone call) to complete a walkthrough of the scope of work.
The worksite will then be set up in a safe, organized manner, and services will be performed as outlined in the approved quote. Once work is complete, the crew lead will conduct a final walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction before departing.
Agreement to Terms
Approval of this quote constitutes agreement to the above terms and conditions.
